NON WOVEN INTERLINING

NON WOVEN INTERLINING

Non-woven fabrics are made mainly from polymers, are inexpensive, have high strength and are commonly used for plastics. They can consist of one or several layers, such as SMS fabrics, which are trilaminated. Often fibers like silk, polyester, nylon, bamboo fibers, wood pulp, viscose fibers are used to develop Spunlace, which is used to manufacture disposable surgical gowns, filters, face masks, wet wipes, etc.

Non-woven fabrics are textiles that have been created through a process of bonding fibers together, either by some kind of chemical adhesion, mechanical or heat treatment, or a combination of those. There is no weaving or manual construction involved.

The fibers used in producing nonwoven fabrics are mainly polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET). In addition, there are nylon (PA), viscose fiber, acrylic fiber, polyethene fiber (HDPE), and chlorine fiber (PVC). Nonwoven fabrics are extensively used in the manufacture of both single use (or disposable) and durable clothing, notable market segments being protective clothing, garment linings, interlinings, weddings, shoe linings and synthetic leather fabrics.

Non-woven are ideal for tea bags and single-serving coffee bags because they have no odor or taste and are extremely strong when wet, so you don’t have to worry about tea leaves or coffee grounds floating in your beverage. Dry floor cloths provide convenience and performance.
